Teenage bedroom must have a very thoughtful layout. That’s so because teenagers have a lot requirements that should be considered in their room. If you’re going to design room for your kid or kids by yourself you must do that. Among things that teen bedroom should have and you should consider are: a lot of storage space, a thoughtful study place, a comfortable sleeping bed and a stylish look of the room. Rooms with a summer feel
Maybe its a lot of white that makes a room have a "summer" feel to them but these 3 rooms have it. Slipcovers? Not too fussy? I guess a dog on a surf board helps! Not sure but I love it !

White !
One of the most used tip in small space design is using the color white. I personally think you can use any color in a small space, but white is a wonderful choice. In addition to white making a space look larger, you can add any accent color with smaller accessories and not break the bank!

Architects Have Great Tools!
Every once in a while I like to give you an example of the tools we use in this business called Architecture. Things have come a long way since the old pencil and straight edge days. Now we perform all of our designs "virtually" using 3 dimensional computer programs. These programs allow an Architect to understand and communicate a design better.
Below is an example of a design for a client that has been completed. But we are trying to get a better feeling for a potential color scheme. In this case my client had a few color schemes in mind. So I did a series of studies using "Sketchup" - one of our 3d modeling tools. This is a great way of testing a color scheme before you get committed to it.
These studies helped my client get comfortable (excited even) with her color choices.So don't just use those little paint chip cards to make your final selections. Get your colored pencils out and test the scheme on one of your house elevations. Or better yet have your design professional test the color scheme using a 3d modeling tool like I do.

Don't be afraid to put a bed in a small room, or where ever you can ! I have a day bed in my living room! I may live small but I love having over night guest ! How do you accommodate over night guest? Is it possible for you ?

Storage headboards are great when space is limited. You could do one with a twin bed too on a small scale. Love it !
